| The College of Radiology and NCWO conducts SBE workshops in Brunei 2-3 Nov 2002 | Mrs June Yeoh and Dr Evelyn Ho laden with Teaching Breast models arrived just past midnight on the 2 November 2002 in Brunei. As guests of the Ministry of Health as well as the Brunei Women’s Council, they conducted 3 workshops over the course of 2 days. About 300 male and female nursing students together with their tutors attended this workshop in their auditorium. 28 nurses and 2 doctors attended this Self Breast Examination Workshop at RIPAS Hospital, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. 
| Hjh Norsiah Hj Johari of the International Affairs Division, Ministry of Health of Brunei welcomed all to the workshop conducted in the afternoon on 2nd November (Saturday) | Pengiran Hjh Azizah bt Pengiran Hj Tajuddin (Acting Director of Nursing, RIPAS Hospital) gave a short speech and spoke of the incidence of breast cancer in Brunei. Lack of awareness and ignorance had resulted in women coming in for treatment in the later stages of the disease in Brunei as well |

This workshop was held in Riverview Hotel, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. Despite being a “weekend” and also just being prior to the beginning of the fasting month of Ramadan, about 35 women turned up for this workshop. |
