| Yes, Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer? | Avon Cosmetics has launched its breast cancer campaign in a ceremony graced by YB Dato’ Chua Jui Meng, Minister of Health on the 26 August 2002 at the Stesen Sentral in Kuala Lumpur. In this campaign, Avon has committed RM250,000 from the funds raised for donation to the Putrajaya Hospital Breast Clinic. Malaysian pop personality Erra Fazira, Avon’s Beauty Ambassador together with Avon Associates and Dealers, travelled on the Putra LRT around the city to help raise funds through the special edition lipsticks on the day of the launch.
Avon’s special edition lipsticks will be sold at RM16.90 (Sabah & Sarawak RM19.45) and for each lipstick sold, RM1.00 will be donated to the Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer Fund. The lipsticks will be available at all Avon Beauty Boutiques nationwide until 29 October 2002.
Avon’s “KISS” campaign is part of a global mission to fund access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. The programme supports medical research, clinical care, support services, education and early detection programmes nationwide. To read more about Avon’s campaign, please click here:
