Pantai Medical Centre, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur holds Public Forum entitled Mammogram And You - 18 May 2002
 

A public forum on “Mammogram and You” was conducted on 18 May 02. Dr Philomena and Dr Toh Siew Tee were the speakers. About 40 people turned up for the forum. Following this forum, the breast health awareness programme offers free self breast examinations every Tuesday afternoon (by doctors) and these are by appointment. 

The forum discussed the anatomy of the breast, facts on breast cancer as well as techniques of early detection, including myths about the mammogram and how the ultrasound plays its role in breast imaging.
