Advanced Trainers’ Breast Awareness Workshop, Johnson & Johnson  Medical, Selangor – 20 Sep 2003

It was an afternoon (4 hours to be exact) of fun filled activities in learning communication techniques and how to be more effective teachers of self breast awareness. Two thirds of the participants were from the Breast Cancer Welfare Association in Petaling Jaya. In addition to techniques, establishing a good foundation in facts related to breast health was emphasised. An insight into the person who may be seeking information on how to be breast aware was given through activities. Most of the participants had already undergone the basic course earlier.

We would like to express our thanks to Johnson & Johnson for the venue, refreshments and teaching breast models, thus enabling and supporting these workshops to help to increase the teaching workforce for self breast awareness.

Breast Health Workshop kicks off BCAC 2004

The first workshop for trainers will be held on 9th Jan 2004, at Corus Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Three other public workshops planned for 2004.
