The Art of Being Breast Aware - Workshop at the Auditorium, National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur. 27 February 2003
 

Now you might be wondering how a work shop on breast health awareness lands up in the National Heart Institute of Kuala Lumpur? For the good reason of bringing breast health awareness to the staff and all who happen to be in the National Health Institute on 27 February 2003.

99 people (the invitation was extended to both gender) registered on the afternoon of the talk. Teaching breast examination models were on hand together with assistance from the nurses of the National Cancer Society of Malaysia and Rosa Ho of Johnson & Johnson to answer questions as well as help them with the hands-on session after the talk.

Dr Evelyn Ho, the Breast Health Programme Coordinator from the College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, conducted the workshop. It was an interactive, informal and “interesting” session which culminated with tea of course!

 

Breast Health Workshop kicks off BCAC 2004

The first workshop for trainers will be held on 9th Jan 2004, at Corus Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Three other public workshops planned for 2004.
