| Pantai Pink October Breastival 2003 – 18 Oct 2003 Pantai Medical Centre (PMC) in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur held a “Breastival” in conjunction with the international breast cancer awareness month of October. The Breastival was preceded by an official launch and followed by a workshop that covered the physical, emotional, psychosocial aspects of breast cancer and breast health. Topics included sexuality in cancer survivors, a Look Good, Feel Good session contributed by Estee Lauder beauty consultants as well as a breast cancer survivors panel discussion. In addition to this one day workshop, PMC is offering free self breast examination counseling and special rates for mammogram services throughout the month of October. Funds raised through activities such as a food sale and pledges for the “tree of life and hope” would be given to the Hospis Malaysia and the National Cancer Society of Malaysia. | Pantai Breastival Photos | |
