At the height of her professional career as a Chartered Accountant she was diagnosed with cancer. She finds herself on new ground with this book. "A Brush With Life" started off as a collection of Siew Lin's "hobby-paintings” over the past two years. It evolved into this publication, which reflects her own very personal journeyMore at www.abrushwithlife.com.my | Soo Ewe Jin, gifted with the ability to write and currently a journalist, shares with us his journey with cancer. She says, “I have been blessed in knowing many loving and courageous people. Caring for these special people has given me real experiences that no text book could ever teach. I have seen how patients and families struggle through diagnosis, treatment, and successes and failures of having cancer. I don't claim to know everything about cancer, but I would like to share my knowledge, experiences, and feelings with others to help make the journey easier.”More here! | | International Union Against Cancer (UICC) | Founded in 1933, UICC is the only international cancer organisation committed exclusively to fighting cancer in every country of the world.
