Talkback Archive Q&A - Web Site Problems

I'm pretty attracted with ur Web site design, its easy to read and full of "links" to other related sites/info. However, when i try to click on the Breast Health Information Centre link (be it in BI/BM), it doesnt work. I'm really fed-up with several trials but still fail. (The message "The requested URL could not be retrieved. Access denied" keep appearing)

I do hope this important links will work in a very near future.

Thank you for your feedback.

We would appreciate it very much if you could let us know from which page you tried to click on the link. We have checked the links from www.radiologymalaysia.org/index.html page and both links to the Breast Health Info Centre and the single link to the Pusat Sumber Kanser Payudara work.

Sometimes, you may log into an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that may have some problems with their DNS (domain name servers) or transparent proxy servers, especially if you are a dialup account user.

If you encounter this kind of problem, you should log off and re-log in to the ISP again. We are aware that the two premier ISP’s in Malaysia (JARING and TMNet) as well as the smaller ISPs like Time.Net or Maxis.Net do sometimes hiccup.

We at Radiology Malaysia work hard to provide a good web surfing experience for visitors to the web site. However, we cannot foresee nor prevent the little technical problems that will arise with your ISP connection from time to time.

I suggest that you inform all visitors to your website to use only Windows Internet Explorer as using Netscape will not give a true/complete displate of your webpage, especially the Talkback page. Please have the request to use only Internet Explorer prominently displayed in your home page. Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback.

On all pages of the Radiology Malaysia website, and on the welcome pages of the Breast Health Info Centre (English and Bahasa Malaysia), the “This web site is best viewed at 800x600 resolution using Microsoft Internet Explorer” notice is prominently displayed on the navigation sidebar to the left of the pages.

Our access statistics indicate that 98% of visitors to the Radiology Malaysia web site pages use Microsoft Internet Explorer. We strongly advise you to use Microsoft Internet Explorer v5.5 and above to view the Radiology Malaysia web site so as not to miss out on the proper layout of the pages!

Part of the page (on the right hand side) was not printed while the whole section under the MRS logo was printed even for short articles. This resulted in difficulty in filling in the missing words on the articles while there was wastage of paper for short articles.

I think it is high quality product, which you had produced! Keep up the good work.

To ensure that the whole article with sidebars are included, please go to File, Page Setup to print in landscape mode and please adjust the margins to the page too. If the article is short, you can elect not to print all pages, specifying the page numbers to print instead. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above, you can preview the pages before printing. Thank you for the feedback.- Webmaster

I'm unable to use the File, Save As function to save web pages for off-line reading.

You did not mention which web page you were trying to save. As such it was not possible for us to simulate your problem. We had no difficulties saving the web pages contained in www.radiologymalaysia.org

As a general piece of advice, we recommend that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later as the web site is optimised for use with this browser. Earlier versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Netscape Navigator, are not supported.

We thank you for visiting Radiology Malaysia and hope that we have clarified the matter for you in a satisfactory manner. - Webmaster
