33 New College of Radiology Members Inducted at the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia’s Conferment of Fellows & Induction Ceremony, Kuala Lumpur –  8 Aug 2010

The College of Radiology has great pleasure in welcoming to its fold, 33 newly inducted members, representing a mix of oncologists, radiologists and a nuclear medicine physician. Nine of its members were also conferred their Fellowship in the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia’s Conferment of Fellows and Induction of Academicians Ceremony, held for the first time at the Medical Academies of Malaysia Building in Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur at about 12 noon.

The ceremony was held in the Auditorium and guests including family members were present to witness the event. A total of 23 academicians were conferred their fellowship and 171 were admitted as ordinary members of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM).

Prior to the Induction Ceremony, a Strategic Planning Workshop was held to review, and chart the course of the AMM. After the Induction Ceremony, the Annual General Meeting of the AMM with election of council members and the Master was held. Prof Dr Victor Lim was re-elected as Master of the AMM.
