Dr Chang Keng Wee is the new Master of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia & 14 New College of Radiology Members Inducted, Kuala Lumpur – 22 Sep 2011

Audience at the Conferment and Induction Ceremony of the AMM

Congratulations to Dr Chang Keng Wee on being elected as the new Master of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM) at the annual general meeting of the AMM on the evening of 22 Sep 2011 at the Medical Academies of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The elections proceeded very smoothly after the official matters of passing of the minutes, accounts and matters arising were covered. Prof Dr Victor Lim, retiring Master of AMM was thanked for his selfless service to the AMM.

The AMM AGM was held at the end of the first day of the Ministry of Health-Academy of Medicine of Malaysia Scientific Meeting 2011. Earlier, new Fellows and Members of the AMM were inducted at the Opening Ceremony of the Scientific Meeting.
 
Welcome and congratulations to the new members of the College of Radiology (CoR), inducted at the Conferment and Induction Ceremony on the afternoon of 22 September 2011 in Dewan TJ Danaraj, Medical Academies of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The new CoR members are:

At the ceremony, the 11th Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Lecturer was Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Ramon Navaratnam who captured the audience’s attention with his lecture entitled “What Would Tunku Say If He Was Here Today?”
