| Breast Health at the Vocational Training Opportunities Centre at the YWCA, Kuala Lumpur – 6 May 2006 By Dr Evelyn Ho Thirty-three young ladies in their late teens and twenties undergoing vocational training at the YWCA Vocational Training Opportunities Center in Kuala Lumpur had a diversion from the usual programme. They attended an afternoon workshop to introduce them to breast health and self breast examination. The young ladies came from all over Malaysia including East Malaysia.
Basic information on the breast, physiology, anatomy and breast health maintenance were introduced in a manner to motivate a proactive stance towards their own breast health. This interactive workshop was conducted by Dr Evelyn Ho and assisted by Mrs June Yeoh and Francis Lee. | | |
