Estée Lauder: Girls’ Breast Friend! – 27 April 2007
By Dr Evelyn Ho Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) Malaysia’s 20th Anniversary Celebration was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. It was a black tie affair which was glamorous yet fun! Yasmin Yusof was compere for the evening. Speeches were kept short and sweet, and loyal longserving staff (at least 20 years) joined the stage for the “birthday” cake cutting ceremony.
In keeping also with their caring culture, cheques were presented to the College of Radiology for the breast health and mammogram programmes as well as the Malaysian Aids Council for their work with children with HIV. RM 50,000 and RM60,000 were presented respectively to the organisations which were represented by their respective Presidents, Dr Evelyn Ho and Professor Adeeba Kamarulzaman.
A twenty-minute video presentation of ELC Malaysia show cased their corporate culture, brands and satisfied customers. To round off the evening, Soprano Tan Soo Suan thrilled the audience with her renditions of a variety of songs including a Malay number. The renowned Dama Orchestra provided the accompaniment.
