The 17th AGM was held at Shah Village Hotel once again. Ms Ranjit Kaur, the President of the BCWA began with an introduction and a review of the events in the past year. The accounts were then, presented. About 60 members attended the meeting.
This year being election year, lent an air of excitement. The executive committee for 2003-2004 was dissolved officially. Prof Dr Yip Cheng Har was selected to be the Chairman of the Elections. The elections ran smoothly and a new committee was voted in.
The new executive committee members for 2004/2005 are:
President – Ranjit Kaur
Vice President – Dr Kanaheswari
Secretary – Barbara Khoo
Treasurer – Siew Mei Quin
Committee Members - Margaret Gooi. Lynn Leong, Wong Mee Yee
The Meeting ended with tea at 4.30pm.
