A Nite with the BCWA Patrons - 17 January 2007 By Dr Evelyn Ho The Breast Cancer Welfare Association held a dinner in honour of their Patrons, Yg Mulia Raja Toh Puan Teh Zaitun Raja Kamarulzaman (founder Patron) and Yg Berbahagia Puan Sri Datin Seri Dato’ Akmal Abdul Salam (newly appointed Patron) in The Royal Lake Club, Taman Tasik Perdana Kuala Lumpur.

During the dinner, volunteers that have assisted the BCWA in the inception and continuing activities were recognised and given a token of appreciation (plaque). These included Marion Khor (the administrator with multiple tasks); Barbara Khoo, Azizah, Linda Leong, Francis Lee and the technical advisors. Mr (Dr) Leong Yew Pung, a surgeon, was honoured as one of the founder members of the BCWA.
The evening ended with a karaoke session from Yg Berbahagia Puan Sri Datin Seri Dato’ Akmal Abdul Salam and others from the floor. Members then danced the night away! | | |
