My fellow breast cancer survivors and I mourn the loss of our esteemed leader and role model, YA Bhg. Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahood who ended her journey of life after a brave battle with breast cancer. We convey our deepest condolences to our dear Prime Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and the family on the demise of his beloved wife. - Ranjit Kaur, President of the Breast Cancer Welfare Association & The Survivors at the Breast Cancer Welfare Association.
| Breast Cancer Survivors find Advertisement offensive – 30 August 2004
“I only wear specially made bras imported from Italy. When you only have one breast, it’s one of the choices you have to make.” This formed part of the advertisement for a cancer awareness screening campaign that was published on 5 August 2004 in the STAR.
