Talkback Q&A - Lelehan puting dan sindrom pra-haid – apakah penjelasannya?

Q Payudara sebelah kiri saya mengeluarkan cecair.

http://www.radiologymalaysia.org/breasthealth/BM/UmurBawah35/index.htm

Talkback Q&A - Armpit pain for 1 month. I think I may have a small breast lump.

Q I have had this pain in my breast by were my armpit is.  I have had the pain for about a month, could it have any thing to do with cancer?  I have been doing SBE and there  is a small lump but I am not sure if it was there before.

A Please do read the articles in the Breast Health Info Centre to have a more complete overview of breast health, breast cancer and what you should do to be proactive about breast health. You can start here: http://www.radiologymalaysia.org/breasthealth/About/index.htm http://www.radiologymalaysia.org/breasthealth/Who/index.htm. These are the index pages for articles in the related subtopics.

As for SBE, please do make sure you are doing it with the proper technique – otherwise, you can miss things or you may be confused. http://www.radiologymalaysia.org/breasthealth/SBE/index.htm

Finally as stated in the 3-prong strategy for breast health, it would be best that you see your family doctor with regards your symptoms so that you can get these checked out.

Depending on your age group, the investigations for breast (other than a physical examination by either your breast care nurse or family doctor for a start) are related in: http://www.radiologymalaysia.org/breasthealth/BreastImaging/index.htm

Talkback Q&A - Small dimple-like spots on my areola – do I have cancer?

Q I was recently looking at the breast cancer site, and came across a sign of breast cancer known as "dimpling". This worries me because on my areola there are small dimple like spots. They have been there for some time and I'm really scared I've got breast cancer, I'm 14 and I'm really scared. Please help.

Gem 10 Mar 2004

A Those little dimples and bumps on the areola is different from true dimpling of the skin. Please look at the pictures (they are graphic, so be warned). http://www.radiologymalaysia.org/breasthealth/About/howcanitell.htm

You can expect the areola to have bumps  - like white heads. Read all about the breast at: http://www.radiologymalaysia.org/breasthealth/Who/allabout.htm

If you are unsure, please do check with your doctor/health care professional or breast care nurse.
