What alternatives are there to surgical breast reconstruction?

Should you choose not to have surgical reconstruction, there are special bras, padding, external silicone “prosthesis” to help you achieve symmetry. There are even some that can be used so that you can go swimming! These are now available in Malaysia. Some examples are shown here. They are of various sizes and shapes and most would be made from silicone.

The treatment should take into account the patient’s physical, emotional,
psychological and rehabilitation needs.

If you have good sized breasts, then, having only one breast may throw your posture and balance off, give rise to even back aches. Consider an external prostheses to help retain the balance and of course, look better.
