| | The College of Radiology Mammogram Programme
The Subsidised Mammogram Programme (SMP) was spearheaded by the College of Radiology and the MMA Foundation Radiology Fund, with the Foundation providing the subsidy for the mammograms. Centres which volunteered as mammogram providers since 2004 had to pass an accreditation process to ensure the minimum quality for mammograms was attained. In 2002, the COR wrote to private mammography centres to hold special programmes or discounts for breast screening in their respective centres. Since then, many have responded and continue to hold programmes annually.
