Conceived in 2004 by the Malaysian Breast Cancer Council, the event is not just an awareness event for breast health but also a celebration of life for those who survived breast cancer.

Harley Owners Group Ride for OutRageously PiNK Nite 2009

• 4.30pm: Harley Owners Group (Malaysia Chapter) – dressing of Harley Bikes at HQ, Lot 1480 Jalan 51A/221.
• 5.30pm: HOGs with Pink Challengers will take off from HQ , via Jln 222, Federal Highway to Bangsar. The HOGS will be wearing pink bras, sponsored by Xixili in support of breast health/cancer awareness.

The event is sponsored by Bangsar Village II in collaboration with Venusbuzz, Lariche Community, College of Radiology Academy of Medicine of Malaysia and the Malaysian Breast Cancer Council.

OutRageously PINK Nite 2009 will be a culmination of the month-long Stand Up For Pink celebration in October where an exhibition by Gin & Jacqie, treasure hunt, health talks and sales of ‘pink’ souvenirs are held at Bangsar Village. Proceeds from the sale of items at the bazaar, in part or in whole, will be channelled to the University Malaya Medical Centre Breast Cancer Fund.

This 3-word slogan contest is open to everyone, young and old. It can be in English or Bahasa Malaysia.  Put on your thinking caps…and example of a 3-word slogan or tagline for OPN2009 is “Fight, Smile, Live”.

Please submit your entries before the midnight of 30 Sep 2009 and a 32″ flat panel TV could be yours in November 2009!

The video must carry the theme, flavour, spirit of “LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST even with breast cancer”. Our Panel of Judges will short list the entries and the finalists’ on YouTube will be open to voting by the public. The list with their respective links will appear on Radiology Malaysia.

The basic requirements for this original video of your own creation are:

-Videos must be your original work and you own the copyright to all material

-Videos must have in their title the phrase “RM-OPN2009″ to facilitate easy search

-Each video must be themed (centred upon) “Living life to the fullest even with breast cancer”. The video may be in English or Bahasa Malaysia

-The video must NOT exceed 3 minutes in total including the credits (titles, names of those in the video, producers etc)

-Videos longer than 3 minutes will be disqualified from winning prizes

-Anyone or any place featured in the video should have given permission for themselves to be shown as the winning video may be used in our promotional breast health materials and events

-The video entry must not be obscene or indecent, contain defamatory statements, invade any person’s privacy or rights of any person, business, place without his/her permission

-The video entry must comply with the YouTube terms of service

-All entries shall become the property of the organisers and may be used for promotional or other purposes

-all contestants will be asked to submit the original video (in a DVD) as proof of their work, failing which they will be disqualified
